Art-net to dmx Startup

Hello,

I love the little program Art-net to dmx. It is a life saviour!

However, it has stopped working for me. Since today when I want to start the program it immediately crashes! For a few seconds the window opens as here:

Then it closes and that's it. It is not running in the background. It has worked the day before! The only thing I did was restarted my laptop in between sessions. There were no Windows updates in the meantime, I checked.

What I already did to solve it:
Unplugged all USB cables
I restarted my laptop (win11)
I checked for Windows updates.
I reinstalled the freestyle software (first I removed the old software).
Disabled firewall.
I did CMD > sfc /scannow
Tried to install older versions 3.5.6 and 3.5.7

> Do you know any similar software I could use? I run an Enttec DMX USB PRO (So USB in, dmx out)
> Do I need / How can I fully completely remove the software for a reinstall?

Hi All,
An update on the things in tired - no success so far.
I found the crossing in Windows logbook as a generic "Application error 1000". (see image below).

What I tried to fix it:

Ran additional anti-virus (again)
Clean Boot (no thirty-party programs)
Run in Compatibility Mode
System file check through sfc /scannow (again)
CMD > DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

> Can anyone confirm the program uses .NET Framework?

I discovered in the wiki Art-Net to DMX uses .NET3.5

Therefore I tried to Reinstall the latest version and/or install version 3.5 of the .NET framework.

I followed:

First 1 ran

Then I uninstall everything starting with Microsoft .NET. There were two options according to 'Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features'. I uninstall both.

Try to reinstall the latest 4.8 version

Got an error: .NET Framework 4.8 or a later update is already installed on this computer."

Then try to install 3.5

But the installer won't open, even in admin mode.

Then I uninstalled all I got from 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2xxxx' on my PC. (Thinking it has some connection to .NET).

Rebooted my PC

Try to install 3.5 then 4.8 > same issue with .NET
