Issue with SLMEV3D Not working. [SOLVED-ISH]

Latest FSX2 release. 3.5.9

I installed this yesterday fresh on another computer.

3D viewer will not start from the FSX2 Icon.
If you start it from the C:\FreeStyler\EasyView.exe it will then start and you can select Art-Net by default. Freestyler will not show up in the DMX options.
The Art-Net interface will run fine from another computer using FSX2 sending Art-net.

I will see if the Microsoft Loop-through Network Protocol will work with this on the same computer and advise.

I'll have a look over the next few days at this for you, if I can't work it out then it could be the MEVP protocol between FS and 3D view. That is then out of my hands and it needs up dating from the developer.

Don't know why you are having trouble, just download it within 15mins and got it working no problems?

I got it working using the Art-Net Microsoft Loop Back Adapter.

I did have issues with the icon in Freestyler X2 running SLMEV. If you click on it you get an error trying to start the SLMEV.

If you run it directly from the magic.exe in the freestyler folder then it will run and you can select art-net.

I will do a tutorial this week on how to install and setup the Art-net and MS Loop Back Adapter.

I didn't use back loop or anything like that, just used the old instructions and it worked as it should?!?
I don't understand why it didn't for you? Mines running directly straight from FS.

Yeah, not too sure. I even installed it on a number of different computers.
When I did it with the loopback, I didn't have to do the copying of the MEVP.zip to get it working tho.

Well it's working that's the main thing.
But I'll be sure to keep an eye on it over the next few months, especially if we have more updates for both pieces of software.
