Fixture for HQPower Exciter250

Post by Sander1986 »

Hi,
I've tried to make a fixture for my HQ power exciter 250 but it doesn't work.
there is a mixup with the colors, gobo wheel en gobo rotation.
I have tried a few things but I can't get it to work properly.
Can someone help me out please? I'm a newbie in these things.
It doenst matter if the scan shows an other picture or color than freestyler shows in the program.
I will upload the exciter manual and my pff file.
Thanks

you have mixed up some of the channels. for example you have set channel 1 to pan and that is correct. but you have also set it to the colorwheel.

here is what you have to change:

for colour wheel set colorch. to 3, n colors: 10 (then you can make two icons for the rainbow effect, perhaps more)
for gobo wheel set goboch.1 to 4, n gobos: 10 (then you can make two icons for the gobo cycle, perhaps more)
for gobo rotation set gobo rot 1 to 5
for dimmer control set intensitychannel to to 5, min: 6, max: 128
for strobe and random strobe set stobe ch to 6, low: 195, med: 140 high: 249 (my suggestion, thats how i would do it, so i also can control the random strobe by my bcf2000)

now you have to change the colors and gobos for each wheel so the fit to the dmx protocol for your light. i can see they are wrong at the moment

Probably it's a little mistake that i have made but i can't save this file.
i get this message: "Please fill in al Globo values"
I have tried to copy these globes but it doesn't work
i have exported a new pff file's with the changes.

thanks, it works great, I think I understand it now.
thank you very much !

Only one question. the colors are al little but mixed up. can i adjust these? for example red is yellow, green is purple,... by the fixture creature in tab "1st colorwheel" i can't make any adjustments. do i perhaps need to make the adjustments in freestyler?
