Moving everything to another machine
Hello,
I'm starting to learn FS on may main PC, building fixtures, sequences and so on, including Magic 3D easy viewer (great tool!) .. now when I want to migrate on my notebook for live use, which files/directories do I need to copy? Is everything located in the FS directory and subdirs? Does FS use registry entries?
Thanks.

Re: Moving everything to another machine
FS has a backup/restore function, it's located in File->Backup/Restore. I believe that if you copy the backup file you get to your notebook, you have all your files back... don't know for 100% sure though...

Thanks, I see that you "can now teach FS to others", LOL! Will try that and see if it exports really everything (I doubt about the 3D viewer stuff but I only need it on the main PC to program/test, so..)

Re: Moving everything to another machine
Well, I zip the whole directory, unzip on the notebook over the existing installation and it works fine. Of course also transfers the 3D viewer fixtures, stage, etc... so everything in 1 step.
