Fogger Control? cleaver!!

Post by yofo »

Hi,

How does the Fogger Control know there the fog machine is located at, because I just have to add my homemade fog machine fixture, and everything is on 0 default, but if I click on the Fogger Control, manual fog button, it makes fog? :? how does that work? I don't even have to move the sliders? lol

i don't understand what you are saying? it sounds like it does what it's should... when you add a fogger fixture to a specific DMX address, FS knows there is a fogger on that address. so simple as that!

I just added my fixture, and without moving any levers on my DMX-3F that is connected to my fogger, I just click on the fog button in FS, that is circled with red, and if I click on fog, and just makes fog, but I haven't even touched my fogger machine settings, like for example, ch1 is on / off, that Fogger Control controls it all. I don't even have to make my own macro's for my fog machine fixture

freeStyler sees the fogger fixture and works out its addressing from that.
The fogger control is linked to the fixture and no the address.

Does anyone know if FreeStyler allows for multiple foggers on differing addresses to be controlled by the fogger control ????????

I know it is possibly a silly question as if you are using the fogger control they all would be working at the sametime anyway, but what if you was also controlling them from within sequnces/cues ???

That was going to be my next soon to be question....

Well, onge... you can answer your own question by trying it out;)

i have tried it for you. If you have several foggers/hazers on different addresses they would all be controlled by the fogger control.
