Soundlab Colourscan not reacting to DMX

Post by humek »

Guys,

Im Using Freestyler 2.96 and a JMS USB2DMX Interface,

but I cant for the life of me get my Soundlab Colourscans to react to DMX!

Initially i thought it was a problem with the fixture as all my other fixtures work fine, so i got a new 1 and it wont react either!

The fixtures react to a DMX signal from another colourscan, but not from the interface. The addressing is good, I've checked it over and over!

Any suggestions??

Thanx in advance.

Maybe (if above is the solution) its better to open the colourscans and make the wires of pins 2 & 3 cross internally.

Heading up to the DJ shop shortly for some new DIP switches (as I thought this could also be a cause), so I'll pick up a couple of XLR patch leads to modify while im there!

This is the only thing iv not tried!

Standby for the results.............................
