Re: artnet setting
What exactly is the question?
The art-net device must be on the same network, with a different address from the same address range, and the appropriate subnet. If there is no network router then the PC will also need a static IP address.
You can choose art-net, and which network adapter to use from the freestyler preferences screen.

Re: artnet setting
It might be easier to get an answer if you could explain your network setup (e.g. Direct cable connection to Artnet device? Wireless? Wired through a hub or router?).
Just as importantly knowing the actual make and model of the Artnet device would be useful too.

What is the make/model of the Artnet device? Or could you post a link to it?
Also, there is usually an OEM code which is used with the MAC address in Artnet IP address calculations (see here http://www.artisticlicence.com/WebSiteM ... rt-net.pdf for details ). This document contains everything you could ever want to know about Artnet terminology, calculation and deployment.

Ok, so 'broadcast address' in freestyler needs to be same as Artnet devices address (eg. 2.0.0.2) so it gets sent to right place.
The 3 drop down boxes (net, subnet, universe) need to match whatever you have selected in the Artnet devices setup screen under the port number that you wish to plug into. Likely all zero's for the first port but probably best to check just in case.
Edit.
Please note with class A addresses (eg 2.0.0.2 subnet 255.0.0.0) you need to NOT be on a network with an Internet connection.
You can use standard 192.168.x.x / 255.255.255.0 class C if you wish to do that.

And the net / subnet / universe (3 drop down boxes in freestyler) exactly match the settings under the port 0 tab in Artnet device setup (or whichever port connector you are using)?
I ask because I have seen that device before, and know the defaults were 0/0/0 for the first dmx output (port zero), 0/0/1 for the second, etc and you have selected 0/1/1 in your screenshot.

Re: artnet setting
Your broadcast address is wrong, leave the x in the address, the base address is plugged in automatically.

Re: artnet setting
10 years later I'm having similar issues and battled through it. I thought I'd write some notes for anyone else who is struggling.
Firstly you need to set up your controller and network card how the manufacturer suggests it. By all means you can change this in the future but there's so much to go wrong at this stage. You need to make your life easy. I had to set my network card to an IP of 2.0.1.1 and a netmask of 255.0.0.0 - there was then software on a very dodgy looking USB stick which gave me the IP of my Art-Net box. In my case this was 2.32.244.113
Yours will be different. Follow their instructions.
Click Setup | FreeStyler Setup to open the output control
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lYwbwx ... sp=sharing
Which brings up this dialog:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/17eREjd ... sp=sharing
The first box allows you to choose your interface. Choose Art-Net
The next two boxes are what tripped me up. We'll come back to these.
Set the network adapter to the network adapter which you are connecting to the Art-Net with. Note there might be some interesting IP addresses needed to make this work. Read the manual for your controller.
The broadcast address is the IP address of the Art-Net unit.
Open the controls for the Art-Net Controller
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1j9l71p ... drive_link
Look for the first Universe number, in this case 0. These go into the first boxes on the interface screen. The blue box in my case was 0 and not adjustable, I guess some Art-Net boxes are. Copy the universe number into freestyler (the red boxes in my images).
These can be changed but I suggest not changing this unless you have more than one box! (The left box, blue, is the net in my case was not adjustable)
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cWYvwn ... drive_link
Match the output frequency in freestyler with the Art-Net controller. If freestyler puts out more frames than the controller then the controller will skip frames. If freestyler puts out less then the controller will stutter when a frame is repeated. Faster is smoother but more likely to hiccup. Mine works well with everything on 40.
My controller has a second output which is setup as so:
