Is the shape generator working O.K in version 3.0.1 ?
When I press "run" nothing happens. I can work it O.K in the older version.

It does. The dot isn't moving on screen, but my scanners work fine.

This is not a bug, it has been disabled because it delayed the shape system (fixtures not in sync).

Any idea when it will be fixed?
Can it be enabled? If the fixture is not in sync, It doesn't bother me but I am able to tell that it IS working at a glance; and what shape its currently following...

Well, that's the easy part: If your MH's or scanners are making the same moves over and over again, it's on...... 
The name of the selected shape is under the grid and if you press "View" you'll see the actual figure.
Just kidding. Trust the program and your skills. I'll always look at the show, not the screen. If I didn't select the proper scanners before starting, my screen won't tell me that the wrong scanners are moving.
Most people like to have the scanners or MH's run in synchro, like me. I'm sure disabling the moving dot is a well-thought descision from Raphael. I know in the end you'll find a way to work around this.
