Error Message - Open Failed

Hi guys

I seem to get the error message "open failed" everytime I open Freestyler - even though it doesnt seem to open, and work fine.

Any ideas?!?

Windows has its own driver for the open even thou it can work, its not recognised by freetyler uninstall the hardware and reinstall the correct driver from enntec then plug the device back in.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not using Entec, Im using a JMS USB2DMX.

is that compatable with FS? you may have the driver installed wrong somehow... try re-installing it....

Yeah, its in the list of controllers, and I've used it fine on another PC.#

I've unistalled and reinstalled freestyler, but still get the same message "Open Failed!" on open.

As far as i can see - the software works fine -but its not very comforting!

any ideas?

there could be numerous problems, drivers not installed properly, faulty device, freestyers problem etc etc send that to here to try to determin if it its a bug [bugreporting][/bugreporting]
