Good work there! I've been wanting something similar myself for a while, as I love the effect matrix blinders give from the back of a stage or wherever you put them. Good work with programming using gomonkey, never used it myself but good work!

How easy was the show to operate using GoMonkey?

Gomonkey is extremely easy to operate!! I've been using it regularly every week at our church. I have a midi foot switch that someone in the band uses to go through the scenes.
One thing would help so much is if gomonkey had some sort of timeline or a way to automate the scenes so you could have the drummer on click and then you wouldn't have to have an extra person running lights who doesn't know the light scenes or is just too busy singing and playin guitar! (Me) lol

is that the android APP? I didnt think any one used so never added any features. but i you do il develop it.

Could you expand on the automation? as the scenes can be set to timers, loops and midi control.

I haven't been able to grasp how the timer works in gomonkey, it would be great to be able to put a piece of audio in, and program scenes to the audio track. So the drummer would push play and play to gomonkey and the lights would do their own thing! That's my dream.

Also, yes, the android app. I would use it all the time if I could see which scene I was on. I do a lot of lighting for different things all the time.

Are you running a track?

Have you used Ableton Live?

You could use ableton live to trigger your midi control.

I'm not currently using tracks but i'd like too. I have not used ableton live, I'll check it out.

I checked out ableton. Was on it all night. Not really sure how to trigger my gomonkey midi control from it. ??

hi, i am trying to make an automated show with gomonkey by triggerring gomonkey by midi notes through a DAW. im using Reaper. gomonkey needs an option to type in the midi notes bevause i cant get it to work. watch this video and youll understand.

Did you get any further with this @edoerfel?

I use a LAN => Midi program called CopperLAN, it is awesome.

I think Go Monkey is a midi out only not in.

You may need to Midi map Freestyler Directly if you are triggering from a midi source. eg Reaper.
