Hi guys hope you can help. I have been using freestyle for years but just discovered sub masters.
My acme par panel lights are causing problems. The strobe and intensity are on the same channel. i cannot get the strobe to work. The intensity seems to override the strobe.
Can you help?
Pete

Re: submaster htp and intensity problem
Did you check the start stop values in the fixture files?
After you create the submaster and run it what value is shown on the sliders when you select the fixture?
Is the slider Value the same as the correctsetting for the starting value of the strobe or something different?

Re: submaster htp and intensity problem
Sliders dont seem to show a value for the fixture during submaster playback.
I dont understand lamp on and shutter channels and what they should be set to.
Does the cue have to be programmed using the lamp buttons rather than the sliders themselves for it to work in submaster? Does the strobe need to be programmed on a different submaster to the intensity channels?
Thanks
Pete

I tend to find that putting strobe, colours, gobos etc on overrides are better for control. This then allows you to put them on when you feel like it and it doesn't take up more submasters that could be used for other fixtures. It works well if you use keyboard shortcuts.

Strobe on overrides is great but I would like to run sequences on intensity and I am struggling.
I think my fixture is wrong. Massively stuck gig next week. Help

Hey, calm down.
Why don't you upload the fixture and manual and we'll see what we can do to help?

Re: submaster htp and intensity problem
Manual attached. Will attach the fixture file tonight. As a temporary fjx. if I set intensity to be 0 - 255 and always keep submaster intensity at full, will I regain control of my intensity / strobe channel?
Thanks for the help, it is much appreciated
