easy view not displaying gobo or colours

Post by ayoungman »

I'm running freestyler on Vista. When using easyview, the roboscans do not show any change in gobo shape or colour. They respond to movements though. Any suggestions ?

Ok, I've even tried a single Martin 812 setup with just one head positioned in easy3d and still no colours or gobo changes. I need a solution to this since I've got 3 shows coming up ! :o

To clarify, I'm using the visualiser within freestyler. Magic 3d easyview. What visualiser do you use if your not using Easyview.?

Just asking ! :D . I've just upgraded to a Tablet Thinkpad but its running on Vista so I can't use Lightjockey to Visualise my chases anymore. Its a weird problem, I'm not entirely covinced that its not an issue with Vista, since it was running just fine on my other laptop with XP. Any advice would be appreciated since I've got a show in 48hours time. :o

I thought it might be an address issue, so I set up a single roboscan unit and tried that. Still no luck though.I'll keep trying !

Well, after spending a while on this today, I've now got Lightjockeys visualiser working on Vista ! So everything appears to be OK at the moment. I still haven't resolved the issue with it though. I guess I'll have to leave it. Thanks for the advise though.
