JMS USB2DMX Interface Problems

Hi

I recently bought the JMS USB2DMX interface. It is in the supported interface list for the beta. And have tried it but it doesnt work. It somtimes comes up with "Open Failed" but it otherwise seems working. It works with other software. It only seems to work on the software that you have to click "DMX Connect" or "connect". Is there a connect button in freestyler somwhere? do you have any solutions to this problem?

Try entering your "JMS" unit as "enttec open dmx" This works for my "JMS" interface.

also, make sure the drives are installed correctly for the usb adapter.
Here is a tip.

Close all open programs, Freestyler, Word, IE, FF, Etc..
Make sure there are no Modem or COM Port Inspection programs open.
Plug in DMX adapter.
Wait till you hear the DuDE Sound..

Go to Device manager, (right click my computer, click properties, click hardware, click device manager)
Make sure your dmx adapter is listed with no ! or X by it.

Start FreeStyler.

ok, well ive done what you guys say:
Enter it as an entec open. And checking out device manager. But still nothing. No response at all And it works with other programs but none of them are as good as Freestyler. Any thing else that could solve this problem?

Success, im getting somthing. Its what i want its just a few mins after i have issued the command . Could it be the refresh rate? How can i change this in free styler?
