Shutter chase, shape generator odd problem

Post by bckeeping »

Hi guys,

I am having a couple of problems with the some memories containing shapes. I am not sure if it is something I am doing or a bug...
I am using a pair of ACME winner fixtures and the 3d visualiser

Problem 1 .
I am running a gobo/shutter chase on Submaster 5, this is running fine. I then select a memory on Submaster 1 which contains a shape. The second scan carries on playing the chase correctly, but the first scan always goes back to step 1 of the chase. This doesn't happen when using a chase for the movements, only when using a shape. So for example....

1 - Playing a circle --> square gobo chase
2 - Turn on movement on submaster 1
3 - Second scan carries on chasing while moving, but first scan sticks on circle.

Any ideas, most odd...

Problem 2.
One of my scans (the other one) refuses to tilt, when playing back movements in cues or submasters. E.g When programming or overriding, both scans will be doing a circle. I save this as a state. Running this state in playback has one scan doing a circle and the other just going side to side. However, if I open the state into the editor both scans circle around fine. I have tried closing and re-opening FS to no avail!

Any help would be most appreciated! I am sure it is something I am missing that is overriding the tilt somehow, but I am not sure where to look. I have also used the "release all" button.

Yours hopefully
Ben
