Re: Freestyler USB interference?
Sounds like one of the devices is affecting the usb ports, try them in different orders to find out which one is causing them issue and or try different usb cablesfcukbombdj wrote: 03 Sep 2021, 18:58 so i have an enttec open dmx and freestyler. all latest software. everything works fine when its the only usb plugged into my laptop. as soon as i plug anything else in (pioneer decks etc) the lights start freaking out and jerking around and flicking on and off. as soon as i pull the other usbs back out everything does back to normal! anyone have any ideas??

Do you use a DMX terminator?
Those things fix lots of problems too.

A USB-powered hub would be my guess.
Perhaps your devices are pulling too much power from the laptop usb ports and the enttec open is known to be very sensitive to noise and power issues.

Re: Freestyler USB interference?
Make sure you have your COM ports set correctly if your using mulitple USB ports. It can interfere with things if not.
