Hello,

First post hear so first off respect to the developers for a wicked peice of software.

Im makeing a fixture and trying to limit the range for pan tilt but i cant see how to do it. I would like to limit the pan and tilt range of the pan/tilt tool to 0-167, as beond 167 there are pre programed cycleing pan and tilt movements.

Does anyone here know how to do this?

Many thanks

ames

You can pan and tilt limit change in your scene

Ga to Setup> Freestyler setup> Preferences> Pan / Tilt resize

Here you can pan and tilt limit change

Unfortunately due to the rarity of this problem freestyler is unable to support this mode of operation.

Kind regards

Thanks people, i think im going to make some bottons for the preset pan and tilt movements and make do with that.

One more question if i may?

I have 8 roboscans, but for most gigs i will only use 4. I would like to program for the 4, and when i take all 8 out have them running the same sequences as the first 4, but with inverted pan. I see there is an invert pan function, but is there a way to link the first 4 units with the other 4 units, so i dont have to program everthing twice?

The scanners i have dont have an invert pan function, wich is a shame as i could just run them on the same dmx channels, is there any way to do it with freestyler or any other software, that will copy dmx channels 1-48 to channels 49-96, but with inverted pan.

Thanks again

James

4 on xx address and 4 on another address program them all the same by highlighting all eight fixtures then go back over the 4 you want to use invert and change program accordingly if you have 8 all set up but only want the 4 to work blank the 4 you dont want by selecting them and overidding them to blackout... or create make a single sequence tp blackout the four and put it on an overide button then you can map to a key on keyboard and walla! 4 on 4 off or 8 on 0 off

Hello,
Same problem here in 2023. No way to specify (s2l random) pan/tilt limitations for each groups separately.
Moreover, a little update of the "fixture creator channel description" wiki could be usefull.

Please explain more about the wiki you wanted improving like the specific page,
With regards to your main issue request it on the bug tracker which also acts as a feature request system

For sure.

This is not to date.
I probed for my part, without finding solution to the problems listed above, but the "wiki" is not to date.
I tried check/uncheck the "enable" square near the group list without noticing any change
