Hi.. first of all sorry for my english..
I've tried to set up 2 moving heads (stairville mh-x25)
with freestyler through a usb/dmx interface (usb-dmx512)..
I've got a stairville lighting mixer too.
At this moment nothing happens when I try any command on software..

1) is your USB to DMX device connected and recognized
2) Hook up 1 fixture on channel 1 and use it to make sure all is functioning correctly before adding additional fixtures

I use Win 8.1 and at opening freestyler
appear the message "DHC_OPEN - DHE_ERROR_NOTOPEN"..
This is my doubt

Not sure what dongle that is or what the problem is but until you get rid of that error nothing will work. Make sure you have the correct dongle selected and that alll drivers are correct

Thanks a lot! I've tried to re-install correct driver and a software to test it.. it seems all works.
I think the problem is when I'm looking for the interface name on Freestyler/setup. I don't find the same name (KMTronic USB DMX512).

Either that device is not supported by Freestyler or it is listed under a different name. Until you straighten this out nothing will work. I would suggest getting an Enttec dongle and be done with your problems

When I was looking for info about my device, i've seen this:
"Run FreeStyler and in Setup>FreeStyler Setup choose "Enttec open DMX"
