I have eBay bought led mini spider lights:

I can't get them to work proper in Freestyler.
The menu is:
ADDR - A001-A512 (dmx address)
CHND - 7 or 15 (7 or 15 channel mode)
SLND - master, slave or sound
SHND - Sh1 - Sh24 (efect selection)
SOUD - sound on/off
LED - off/no (background light switch?)
LISP - no/yes (reverse display)
TIL1 - yes/no (Y1 motor reverse)
TIL2 - yes/no (Y2 motor reverse)
TEST
RSET

15ch mode functions:
CH 1 motor route 0-255 - 0-135 degrees
CH 2 motor route 0-255 - 0-135 degrees
CH 3 sum dimmer 0-255 - 0-100%
CH 4 strobe 0-9 off 10-155 fast to slow
CH 5 led1 dimming 0-255
CH 6 led2 dimming 0-255
etc... CH 7.8.9.10.11
CH 12 led8 dimming 0-255
CH 13 macro function 0-7 none, 8-17 effect 1, 18-27 effect 2, etc... 247-255 effct 25
CH 14 effect speed 0-255 (slow to fast)
CH 15 reset 241-255

I can't get anything to respond in Freestyler but theres a reaction plugging and unplugging the DMX cable, something is registering. Some help would be very appreciated, thanks!!

No manual. No fixture.

Except for the obligatory thanks for buying and wise words of safety, the description of 7ch mode is all thats missing from the manual. Thats the menu on the fixture and the channel assignment for the controller. Theres no more in the manual.
I have gotten it to work somewhat using custom sliders, the macros run.

Indeed, this info is "the manual" - chinese companies typically do supply more than that (I can send you a scanned version, if you like).

Back on topic: I use this fixture only in 15 channel mode - the corresponding file is attached.

Thanks for that, I'll check it out when I get a chance and let ya know how it went. I did make a profile myself but its limited. The fixture seems stuck with factory macros, theres no movement speed control. You get what you pay for right?

Hi new to here and DMX, trying to control the LED spider with Freestyler 2, downloaded the above but can't get the light to do much, infact only blue control on the pc work, the light lights all lights and moves too.

Please can someone point me in the right direction.

Worked perfect I actually asked the fixture creator guy to make me one for this unit and gave me a bunch of excuses not to but you guys made it thanks a million .
