Can't figure how "Pan/Tilt resize" feature works

Hello,

I'm new to FS, I slowly start building​ shows using Submasters, cuelist and override buttons, still I'm facing an issue : how to adapt my scan positions to the room ? (I'm a lightjockey for a DJ, I use a basic Starway Director console but I'm willing to upgrade things up)
I found the Pan/tilt feature but can't figure out how to use it...

I searched before on the forum but I didn't find my answer so I'll try to explain my issue :

First I set a limit for the Pan in the Pan/Tilt resize feature. (I set something like 5% 5% to be able to notice the difference)
Then, I launch a cue containing 2 steps (1 : light all the way right, 2: light all the way left), and my fixtures (ROBE DJ Scan 250 XT) just don't care about the "Pan/Tilt resize" limit I set.

I'm sure I missed something to make this feature works, but I can't figure out what.. So, any help would be welcomed

EDIT : I forgot to mention that I'm in virtual mode (i'm trying out the software and then I'll be a Enttec) so I visualize the show in Magic3D and "Show output" (where I saw that pan values keep moving too much)

In the same boat.. Seems pretty straight forward, but for the life of me can't seem to get the resize to work at all.
