Overflow Alert

Post by tendril »

I keep getting an overflow alert. There is nothing in the help manual about this and couldn't find another post on the subject.

What causes this alert? I'm running 2 intimidator 2s, 1 explorer plus and a dmx laser, total of 31 channels.

Many thanks

Not sure why but I have had the same error. I am not sure that the error does anything.

id say its either your 256mb latop memory or your infected with some kind of adware or spyware adn another posibilty is your memorys on its way out...

If it happens again press Print Screen on your keyboard open up paint then click edit/paste save it as a jpeg and post it here...

This happens on the desktop. I'll run a scan tonight and see if it clears the problem

Hey Mates,

unfortunatly I got this "Overflow alert", too.

I´m using Freestlyer for a Great Light equiptment on privat Partys.
There are 22 fixtures programmed at time.

Normaly we are using the SubMaster and the Cuelist Buttons. Sometimes we change settings manually, like a manual controlled Spot by on Scaner.
At our last Party we could work like this about 3 or 4 hours without any Problem.
Then this Overflow message occoured. Even after restarting Freestyler we could change the Light 6 to 9 times by using the Cuelist Buttons until the Error message occurs again.

A Coleauge of mine has the same Problem with another Hardware, but it should be...
We are copying changes from mine Laptop to his.

I have no Idea what could be the reson for this...
Do you need any more informations to help me?
Could anybody give me some advise, please?

Our technical Equiptment:

New Acer Laptops with Intel I3 and 4GB Ram
Interface:
Monacor 512 or JMS USB to DMX

Thank´s for helping.

Best Regards

Martin
