how do you mean with trigger once or twice. like 1 or 2 flashes?

thats indeed the issue. and your on the right way.
some strobos has a Single flash function. yours doesnt.
you can try to create a seq. set the speed realy LOW and the brightness full on.
put the seq. on a override button. and enable FLASH on that override button. (rightclick on the Override button)
now when you press the Override button it turn on and when you release it, it turns off.
but i do not know how you use FS, but this would be the way how i would do it.
