Cue lists not auto start sequences

Post by jonwarby »

Hi everyone, I have been getting to grips with the excellent freestyler with the aim to try and learn how to control DMX capable lights for a small portable disco.

I have done down the road of creating sequences for the individual lights and now I am combining them into cue lists for different light combinations / moods.

I am at the point where I have a system that I would like to use and even subscribed to the mobile app so I can control the sequences using my tablet touch screen.

I do have an issue that has left me scratching my head and was hoping someone may have seen this before or have some suggestions.

The sequences that I have created are all single light sequences in transparent mode. When I load up a cue lists made of multiple sequences some of them work great and others dont play all of the sequences. So for example in this on in the pic when I switch to it the slow dance purple sequence which controls a pair of derby lights plays but the scan 1 slow and the globe slow red dont. In this example they only have one step but it doesn't matter if I create multiple steps. If I stop and start the sequence then it plays as I would expect. If I turn on show output when I switch to the cue list and its starts playing the lights that dont work are shown as having 0 values on all channels until I start and stop the individual sequence.

hopefully this make sense

Managed to solve it. I started from scratch with the cue list and sequences that was causing me the issues. I had already done this with the sequences that werent playing but it looks like there was something in the sequence that was playing ok that was stopping the others from working
