One of my effects are the eclipse RGB and I have it fully operational in FreeStyler, I see there is a profile .ssl both from showxpress and the defaults here, but I notice that it does not render in Magic 3D even with the latest 2014 version. While this would seem to be a Magic 3D issue, I'm just curious, is there a reason that lasers even in the laser sections here do not have .ssl files? I see it in the wiki as an option to enable laser rendering but not anywhere in the 2014 version of Magic 3D.
Is there a fundamental issue with laser rendering in general as to why it isn't done? How do you folks handle laser products that don't simulate outside of obviously using the hardware in front of you? I'll be doing a major corporate event and would like to show the client how it will all look long before it is all set up, but I'm at a loss to figure out what the issue is here.
Anyone have any feedback?
Thanks,
Chris
