hi, i describe my problem the most easy form possible, i'm from argentina, and i have my enttec open dmx in my computer p4 2.0 ghz 768 ram memory with motherboard intel d865perl, 2 moving head geni oby3, 2 scanner geni shiva sv250 and 1 flash geni fl1800... installed the freestyler 2.96e version... in the first 40 60 minutes the systems is ok, send signal dmx and the fixtures doing i do in the software, but after this 60 minutes more or less, the computer or interfase stop send signal dmx becasuse the fixtures not responding shows, so i disconnect the usb cable and connect again, close freestyler and open again, execute the shows and again sending dmx signal normally.. but after 15 or 20 minutes again stoped sending dmx signal, the flash geni is the last unit, so i choose dip switch function "terminator on". and the other problem i had, is with the moving head, when i choose yellow color, fixture n1 is ok yellow, but fixture n2 is another color... i check de moving head and is ok the motors and color wheels, if something can help me, i will regards, thanks you, LELIO!

1st problem : try using the freestyler BETA from the homepage. and see if anything changes.
2nd Problem are the dipswitch settings all the same on the moving heads? if there off by just one then that could be why.

PROBLEM 1:
This is quite a common problem with the enntec.
Solution 1. terminate DMX Lines. All ready done
solution 2. Remove dmx lines away from power cables.
solution 3. Move smoke machines away from dmx, lines and plug into different power socket from lighting/laptop.
solution 4. try the enntec mod provided by hippy.

dj support: the oby3-1 is 1, oby3-2 is 14, shiva 250-3 is 27, shiva 250-4 is 31 and flash is 35 (dmx address)and yes the moving heads is setting same 16bit: on, chn1: off, but different address, i will installed the setup295f.exe version of freestyler, then i'll write what's happend
Mattotone: *the dmx lines are away from power cables,*i haven't fog machine dmx, i had a common fog machine ("plug&play") and was plug into different power line, but i not done this modification to the interfase, i will be in a few days, and then i will write here to comment what's happend.
