Hi all,
I'm trying to create a fixture file for the American DJ Ultra Bar 12 light but the 20 channel version.
Manual:
http://www.americandj.com/pdffiles/ultra_bar_12.pdf
I've modified the 8 channel version as posted on the Freestyler Support Forum in accordance with the ADJ manual but its not working correctly. I can get the first two lights to change colour and intensity as well as strobe but there's another 10 lights which do nothing.
Unfortunately you cannot control each of the 12 LEDs, they are instead paired up so there are 6 pairs.
I feel there should be an option/panel/window to select which pair of LEDs I want to control?
Hopefully someone would be kind enough to take a look at my fixture file (attached) and let me know where I'm going wrong please?
Possibly its the Macros section of the fixture file where I'm going wrong? There are 20 macros when running the 8 channel fixture, but it appears you lose these when running in the 20 channel option according to the manual.
Kind regards,
M.

Re: NEED HELP: American DJ - Ultra Bar 12 - 20 channel
After looking about on the net I found this tutorial...
http://www.freestylersupport.com/wiki/_ ... d_bars.pdf
It shows how to make a similar fixture file albeit with 11 channels.
It seems the best and only way to do this in Freestyler for the ADJ Ultra Bar 12 is to split the light into 7 different fixtures. 6 of these having 3 channels (RGB) and another fixture (2 channel) controlling the dimmer and strobe.
It means have 7 icons on screen for each light but I least I can get it to work.
Just thought I'd post an update so people know.
Thanks,
M.
