Strobes on Override Buttons Staying On

Hi, I have set up my strobe effects which I operate on the Override buttons. It operates just fine when started but unfortunately the strobe effect stays on all the fixtures. So when I have used it instead of the strobe defaulting to zero (no strobe) all the fixtures retain the strobe value so when using a PAR for example it changes colour however continues to strobe.

Any help most welcome please.....??
