Developing for FS

Hi all,

I have been trying to help update FS Remote, but I'm not really getting anywhere (not all the developer's fault, and I understand he's busy just like me.) But, I have no idea how to interface with FS remotely. Is there API documentation or anything like that anywhere? I can just start from scratch.

I'm working with Mattatone for FS Remote on Android, but I'm getting rare responses. I'm using Vista. I just need to know a) what port to connect to, and b) what the remote API calls are. I'm not finding anything describing them (I know the port is 3345 or something like that...I can find that.) I just don't know what calls I can make to interact with FS desktop.

Does the android app connect using an IP address or a PC name that is LDAP'ed?
Did you CMD then use 'netstat -an' to listen to the ports to identify what ports are being contacted by the app?
Check the windows firewall isn't just blocking them. You could turn off the FW until it connects. Maybe take of internet during testing.

IP. It connects fine...I just want to know what the API calls are. I can take it from there.
