Starting cue independant of tap-sync

Post by kwelch007 »

Hi all,

Here's a new one. I wanted to ask prior to making a feature request because there may be a way to do this already...just not sure.

So, let's say I've set a tap-sync on a cue for a previous song on every 4 beats. Then, the song ends, and after a couple seconds (if I'm lucky...my band tends to just roll right into the next song without "dead air") I want to change to a different cue. When I trigger the cue, FS waits for the tap-cue to come around before starting it. So, I may miss 3 or so beats before the new cue begins. I don't mind resetting the tap-sync timing after I start the cue, but I'd like the cue to begin right when I trigger it.

I know that if I were to set my sequences to not react to tap-sync, this would happen. But, I still want tap-sync. Is there a way to solve this currently?

Thanks!
Kendell
