Help with simple overrides and sequences

Post by Diggler »

I'm new to this but I'm trying to set up some basic things for my band to use. I have created a sequence across some LED PAR's that have them all constantly morphing colors over time. That works fine. I also created a white strobe, and assigned that sequence to an override button. When I click it, all the PARs flash white, as expected.

However, I want to make a few different colored strobes as well. I try to create the proper sequence but it doesn't work unless I turn off the color fades... which takes several seconds. It comes out mixed with all the other colors of the fading colors sequence, which ends up looking white most of the time. What do I need to do to have the override button instantly suspend the cue so that I can go from fading colors, to red strobe, and back to fading colors by toggling the Red Strobe button I have created?

Very simple! Run the color changing LEDs as a sequence, then create an override button for the Red Strobing. When you hit the override button for strobing it will override the sequence, when you release the button it will go back to the sequence. Oh yeah, I think there is an option in the settings to go to previous value when a scene is released.
