Cue Playback

Post by check1band »

I need some help with cue playback. I have created sequences and dropped them into the cue for playback. My problem is when I push play the cues, all of the fixtures all keep running. I have tried stopping each sequence before pushing play on the next, but it doesn't stop the fixtures from running. The cues do play, along with everything running from the main window where I programmed the sequences. I have also tried to turn off the fixtures individually or black them out, but it causes them not to run when the cues are pressed. How do I run JUST the sequences from the cue window? I think I'm missing a setting here.

When running from Cues Does your second cue disable the fixtures from the previous cue?

Eg. Cue 1: LED Par 1 Int: 100% Color: Red (This will show LED Par 1 at 100% RED)
Cue 2: LED Par 2 Int: 100% Color: Green, LED Par 1 Int: 0% Color: Red (This will show LED Par 2 at 100% Green and will turn off LED Par 1.)

This is more about this on another Thread. I will try find it for you.

I agree with buttza. You cues are probably conflicting. I've had this issue myself. Make sure that none of the cues in your cuelist affect the same lights. Do this by editing the cue, and looking to see if the fixture has a star next to it. If it does, the cue is affecting it. To remedy, right-click the fixture and select "Remove Fixture from Playback."

Good luck!
