i got enttec dmx pro interface, 8x stairville mhx 25 2x eurolite tmh9 14x stairville led bar 252 rgb and 2x stariville 400mw blue lazers 2x stairville 1500w storbe, thats the setup, tomorrow i can get pictures how fixtures are placed, but my main question is witch option has more opportunities when operating lights live, currently i use cue list and overrides, 20 cues are shared between moving heads and bars, 10 for different bar movement/color 10 for moving head movement/flashings, and overrides for moving head/wash colors, strobe and other things.
oh i forgot, its a medium sized night club, and i have been doing this almost 2 years,
atm, i would like to get all 5 pages of overrides into one big sheet, so i could fit all my colors, gobos into one page, most of time i improvise colors, movements at live, that's why its important to me access colors gobos and other overrides very fast.
please comment, if u are using submaster or any other way to control lights in night club.
Thanks.
Sander

Re: submaster's or cues?
I use submasters to busk live festivals. I create a submaster for each function (pan/tilt, color, gobo, led color, etc) then mix and match live.

Re: submaster's or cues?
I use the SM's, cue buttons and overrides when busking with a live band. Each have their own merits for use and bring much needed versatility. For instance to effect a whole scene change in a coordinated fashion involving all fixtures you use the cue list buttons. On saying that I have the overrides set up for numerous scenes that involve blacking out some or all of the fixtures for additional effect.
So all in all I think you are set up in a similar fashion. I mention all this just to give you some assurance that I think you are using FS as it was meant to be used. Although if someone can provide some additional info that would be great.
As far as having all the overrides on one page, I dont think that is possible.

Re: submaster's or cues?
I do the same as gnarfel. The attributes of each fixture are loaded into a submasters so that I can build a 'look' that I like and then save it to a cuelist button for instant recall later. I also use the overide buttons to add in additional effects like strobes, blinders, lasers etc.
