Korg Nanopad2 and Freestyler

Post by kenstechauner »

Help! I can map functions to notes, but it does not work. I am sure I am missing something. I want to start the sequences I have n a cue. In the midi control setup, for example, I click "Start Sequence 1" and I tap a pad on the Korg and the Midi channel populates.

When I try to use it it does not work. What am I missing?

make sure you go to
setup=>freestyler setup=>external control=> midi control

make sure that the input device is set to the Nanopad and that you have clicked start. Now save and reopen freestyler. Should be working. :)

Search the forum for the following 'setting up a Korg nano' and find the tutorial I posted.

I am getting the same issue. I tried the steps above, but the software is different now.
