Hi,
I have tested Freestyler on my sons PC using an Entec Pro USB interface with no problems at all. I then tried it out on the PC I have in my home studio and found I could get sound to light working, but would only get a useable signal (one that makes the blue level indicator in the sound to light module move in time to the music) when I send the signal into the sound card from an outside source.
Last night, I tried it out on what will be its final destination (I hope) and that is in my Flightcased PC that I run only Traktor from using an M Audio Delta card with sound on the motherboard turned off. Freestyler worked flwalessly and smoothly so I will be able to use it this weekend in my Disco, but I could not get a signal to the sound to light module. I tried different permutations of output with no luck. Unfortunately, this card does not have an input so I could not try that. Any suggestions?
Regards
Paul

Re: Sound to Light Again
Hi
Sorted, found out the card has got an input after all. It is now working with no glithces as this is a very clean machine not attached to the internet or full of rubbish.
Will put half my lights on this and have on my stagelite controller to test out how it goes in a real live situation over the weekend.

Re: Sound to Light Again
Played out Friday and Saturday In Manchester. I had most of my lights hardware controlled but tested 2 Eurolite LED's. Four hours Friday night and From 9.00 till 04.00 Sunday morning with no crashes. Took a while to get my head around the programming, But once sorted had several different sequences some of which were sound to light. Will add some more lights this week.

Re: Sound to Light Again
I am now using 60% of my lights via Freestyler. Having a bit of difficulty progaming, but that will improve with practice (Programing all the lights when I want only one to change) Can see real benefits with this system though.
