Copy and Paste Sequence Step > Subscript out of range

I'm trying to copy a simple step in the create sequence tool, I open a known scene that runs and simulated in easy 3d, I pick a random step, and I click the "copy" and every time it flags subscript out of range.

I've tried doing a "new" sequence, with 4 steps, I click copy, same issue, out of range.

What's up? First time I've seen it happen and searching here doesn't say anything but reinstall when there is nothing wrong with the app and its running?

Any ideas?
