How to dim fixtures on multiple scenes

Trying to think ahead here....

I have programmed up a load of scenes and added in some white profile fixtures to light up the band I work with. Due to time and distance issues I have had to do this in the visualiser so have had to make some educated guesses on how bright the profiles are going to be in relation to the other fixtures. Not ideal.

If I find that the profiles are too bright and killing the effect of the main lighs, is there a way of globally changing the max that the profiles can go to without accessing and adjusting every scene ?? Sort of after an overall master intensity override for certain fixtures ??

Only ways I can think of would be:

Use the submasters, where the white lights could be in one submaster window and the rest in others, and you could match/adjust their intensities using the submaster intensity controls.
These would all still ultimately be under the master intensity, so you might be just leaving the master at full and adjusting only the submasters.

But getting into the submasters can be a bit more work at the start if you aren't already familiar with them.

The other way might be to use MIDI to DMX if you have a controller, and set up some controls to affect the intensity channels of the fixtures you'd want to turn down...

certainly is a way.
Set each light to the maximum intensity you need, then using the sliders on the right, right click and set as maximum limit.

and Now heres the clever bit. Make use of presets. When creating your cues use a preset in your scenes. Then you simply have to edit the preset then all sequences and steps will be edited as well.

Ah, the presets in the sequence creator? Had played with them just enough to know my way around them, but had yet to figure out what they were actually there for, much less what they might actually do... now I must go and play some more!

I'm attempting to do the same thing, but can't find an easy way to do it (technically you could do it with submasters, but it would make everything else a huge pain.) I've entered a feature request on the developer site to add a "Group Intensity" (and "Group Speed") feature. We'll see.
