FP1213 ??

Since this day i have a strange thing when i try to start freestyler.
The start screen shows up and then an install screen comes and says installing and configuring FP1213.
That doesnt finish!!! And freestyler doesnt startup!
I can't find it at the forum, nobody seen it before?
How to start Freestyler now?

i have no clue.
never seen FP1213.

if freestyler work ok before, maby you have some mallware on the pc..

Strange.
It starts when i startup FS.
The only thing i did yesterday was changing freestyler.ini cues to 99

i allways set it to 100 so that should not be the issue but FP1213 seems like a other software and Freestyler only comes with Nicolaudia 3dView and you need to Enable that durring the install from Freestyler..

Yes i know.
I use it for a long time now bit never seen it before.
Maybe i have to deinstall FS and install again?
All scanners active for viruses and malware, so almost not possible!

Sounds like a windows installer issue conflict between something that is changing core files. MS office use to do that mess when it saw runtimes getting changed from another app. Maybe the same here?

Make a zip copy of your freestyler directory and move the zip to a safe spot. Uninstall freestyler and let it finish.....reboot, reinstall freestyler and see if it starts up.

If it does fix it, then just unzip your backup file from above and copy over the fixture, cues, and only needed files to restore your configuration.

That is how I'd approach this issue.

You talk about Ms office.
Funny thing is that i reinstalled that last week.
I'm working on a new file in FS for a show now, but if i'm finished with that i will reinstall it!
