Re: How do i create scenes with magic 3d easy view?
You have to be in CONSTRUCTION MODE in Easy View first, then click on "add fixture(s)" and then find your lights in the left list. When you drag them into the right pane at the starting DMX value in the right pane grids, it will patch the channels of the fixture automatically based on the light files setup (assuming it's proper to the light it represents from who ever created it). If you don't see your light in there, then YOU will have to create it based on the lights DMX sheet values, then bring it in and it will patch it for you.
Makes sure you SAVE your .evs file in Easy View to somewhere you'll be able to find it later, then when you launch easy view from freestyler the next time, it will open the .evs file and the freestyler will automatically hook Easy View and you should start to see your light fixture work as you change values in freestyler when you are in USER MODE after you created all the lights and patches as needed.
You will know freestyler has control when you look at bottom right of Easy View, it will say "controlled by freestyler" when it's hooked and operational.
That should get you going.
Regards,
Chris
