im trying to set up a patch for an led wall setup, comprised if several different lighting bars, im trying to patch them in the order they are positioned on the wall to make the led trix setup easier.
the first fixture is an elation bar , then two chauvet colorbar pix mini, two pix large, and then the pattern basically repeats, we have two elations, 6 large and 4 small of the color bar pix.
when i try to patch a second set of color bars i get an error "pixsmall.fxt : path not found: c:\freestyler\fixtures':
when clearly its there because it just patched that fixture three lines up,

Re: "path not found" when patching fixtures
I also have to same problem. Me and my manager were using FreeStyler 3.5.3 on a Windows 7, 32 bit machine. I created a custom fixture (American DJ Micro Wash RGBW) with 5 channels (Red, Green, Blue, White, Master) and it loaded up fine, we patched in a group of 4 and there was no problem. We then installed the same version of the software on a brand new Windows 7, 64 bit machine and copied over the fixtures folder from the 32 bit machine. When we came to patch up another group of 4 Micro Washes it started to give us 'path not found' alerts. We tried patching one at a time and it would do the first fixture fine but not any subsequent ones. It also patches pre-made fixtures no problem just my custom ones. I even re-made the fixture on the machine recreated the fixture on the machine but it still doesn't like it. Any ideas anyone?
Thanks in advance

Re: "path not found" when patching fixtures
Export the fixture file using the Fixture File creator.
Backup your FS version.
Makesure to move all the files that you want to keep to a different file that isn't in Freestyler Root directory.
Remove FS.
Restart Machine.
Download and install updated version of FS. 3.5.4
Then Run Fixture Creator and import your fixture File to the new Installation.
Run Freestyler and open your location file.
You may need to patch the fixtures again.
Should work. Give it a go and let me know.
Usually these issues can be caused by a corrupted file of some sort. It is best to do a FS install of FS first to save time trouble shooting which can take more time than just reinstalling the program.
