Preset storage location / Problem with pan/tilt window

I'm on 3.5.2. Having an issue right now where sometimes when I program pan/tilt movements on my moving heads, when I go to playback the chase those scenes are not playing back. If I look at the pan tilt/window the ball is not in the position I set it. If I'm editing it, as soon as I move it, the ball will jump back to the right place. I save the step, but then go back to play it and it does the same thing again. This only happens though when I make the lights jump from the far side of the window to the other side (using a wide range of movement) I don't recall having this issue on the older version, so I think I may go back to the older one. Is this a known issue with 3.5.2 or what am I doing wrong?

On that point if I want to go back to the older version (3.4.8 is the only installer I still have) I have created some movements in the preset section. I don't want to lose these so where does Freestyler store the information for the presets, so I can copy that file then replace the older file with this one.
