Best way to build PAR CAN Ping effect.....??

Hi All,

Before I start I have built and used live quite a number of cues to run off cue list buttons but have this particular issue with which I could do with some help please....??

I am trying to build a number of Ping effects on PAR CANS i.e. one can at a time snapping on and off and then another in a different colour. I want to use this effect with 'Tap Sync'.

I am using the sequence creator to build this and when viewing within it all is fine. The problem comes when I add it to the cue lists window to save as a cue for a cue list button. The PARS I am using are set up on the SM on the first page channels 1 to 5 so I thought just add the sequence to any of these channels and then save the cue and then to a button. Unfortunately lots of other lights come on when I activate the cue list button. I open again in editor and it plays fine but the transition onto the cue list button is causing the problems. Does anyone have any idea how best to do this please...??
