Can't program Moving Heads into Freestyler

Post by nightrider »

Hi All.
Just got a few new toys when swapping to dmx software. I've purchased 4 of these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2X-LED-DJ-LI ... 11f&_uhb=1

and also I purchased one of these
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DMX512-USB-t ... 9b4&_uhb=1
which claims to support Freestyler.
Ive installed it properly (Im thinking) as it comes up on my Windows 7 64-bit system as uDMX for the driver, like it supposed to. The adaptor also lights up. However I still don't know if freestyler is working with it. It has the output option as uDMX. So I can only ussume that part is working.

Now when setting up a new fixture in Fixture Creator, I have no idea how to program in when 1 channel controls the brightness, strobe and lamps on/off, nor any of the other channels for that matter.
The dmx table is:
Ch1: 0 Off
1-153 Control the brightness
154-243 Strobe
245-255 All lamps are on
Ch2: Y axis
Ch3: X axis
Ch4: R G B trichromatic
Ch5: Strobe

Thanks in advance for the help.
