Touch activation - controlling with a Midi Keyboard?!

Post by NFF Club »

Hey everybody!

I own a house club in Bremen Germany.
We just bought 4 new LED Moving Heads (showtec phantom 25 led).
Great Heads!
We' controlling everything with Freestyler (Of cause! ;) ).
Now I bought the Akai LPK 25 Midikeyboard to control some main functions of Freestyler.

Now my question is - is it possible to configure the keyboard so, that If I push a key the lights go on and if I release it again they go of??
I just found 100% and 0%, but you have to route them to two keys.

My idea is, that you can touch the keys to the beat and for example every key has another color.
So you can design the light to the beat.
Pretty simmilar like using a grand MA for example.

Is it possible and if yes - HOW?! :?:

Would be great to hear some ideas of you guys.

Cheers,
Jan

Hej Jan.

I am not sure if this will work.

Creat 1 sequence for each color.
Add each sequence to an override button.

There are some info on the wiki

Then you just have to map the midi keys.
