I'm Freestyler user about 5 years ago and I love this program. Always met all our needs perfectly.

1 year ago we are beginning to use led arrays to handle a dance floor and led sticks of 1 meter.
For this I am using the plugin LEDTRIX, which seems pretty limited in many aspects, especially the use of GIF images instead of generating its own effect.
Investigating and found two very powerful specialized software in this: http://www.madrix.comhttp://www.chromateq.com both commercial and only for their interfaces

However, I found very powerful free alternatives but undeveloped DMX applications:
GLEDIATOR: http://www.solderlab.de/index.php/software/glediator
PIXELCONTROLLER: http://pixelinvaders.ch/?page_id=160
DMatrix: http://sourceforge.net/projects/dmatrix/
Although they are very powerful programs, the problem is that none of these softwares have option to manually patch DMX devices as if it has LEDTRIX. Nor for working with Open DMX interfaces as Enttec.
I guess that develop software must demand such a huge effort.
Therefore, it is possible that in the future may soon join one of these programs to Freestyler?
The 3 named here are open-source and free.
I love to see it, because I think it is all that would be missing.
What do you think?
Greetings,
Franco.
