Hi, i use freestyler on my notebook for controlling 5 fixtures.
I also play music and beam video's with this notebook.
I'm planning to add another 15 dmx-lights in the future.
Now, i'm a bit worried this could be too much for my notebook.
So, what's the use of memory and cpu power actually when using dmx-freestyler?
Is this something to be worried or not?

Re: cpu and memory use
hi,.
this depant on the USB->DMX device you use..
As some interfaces has a Build in Clock so it doesnt need the clock from the PC therfore uses Less resorces..
Other Doesnt have a Build in clock and there for use the Clock from the pc and uses More resorces..
Like the Enttec pro, DMX king pro and some other has a Build in clock..
and the Enttec OPEN doesnt have the clock...
but if it work fine now i think you can Use all 512 channels without notice the differnce in speed..
