Is it possible to install in FS and EV in a completely simulated mode with simulated fixtures and visualization? I am just getting started and would like to build an environment wherein I can learn the ropes and get to know the software before hooking up a real DMX controller. Is this possible? When I launch Easy View for example, it prompts for an IP address.
Please let me know - Thanks

Re: Install in completely simulated mode with visualization?
durring the install of FS it also ask if you like to install EV. (a Seperate installed EV will NOT work)
enable this and the FS install will also install EV.
Now if you launched FS you need to set the interface setup on "Virtual interface"
Now launch EV with the 3D button you see on FS and it should work.
and if the light doesnt go on look at this link : viewtopic.php?f=56&t=4526
