Help to Zone

Post by Jan_K »

Hej Folks

I am looking a bit on zones.

Is there a benefit be using zones and is some specialties for zones.

Or is it just a way to place the fixtures in groups on a tab.

the zone can be used to categorize the fixtures
I use it if i have some fixtures in the room which is moodlighting, upligghting etc which i dont have to have 100 % control off. I out them in one zone and keep the fixtures i use for the dancefloor and the disco light on the first zone. then i dont select the wrong light accidentally. .

also if you have a lot of fixtures it is a good way to have an overview.

there is no special features you have only when using zones

Hej Kristian.

I just needed to be sure that I was writing the right thing in wiki and not missing anything.
