calibrate moving head?

Post by lemon »

Hi!

I have 4 moving heads, and I have programmed different moving scenes for them. On the show I want to limit pan and tilt of the heads so that the light the show and not the viewers.
Is there a possibility in Freestyler to limit every single moving head in pan and tilt? in other DMX controller softwares I have seen that this can be made by selecting one moving head and setting the 4 edges (upper left, ouuper right, lower left, lower right) of the spot area. So the moving head can't get out of this area for that show, and the programmed moving scenes can be used anyway, but obviously the are "cut".
Hope you understand what I mean

There is a overall Pan/Tilt resize feature in FS but I never used it. It works for all moving heads or/and scanner and thereby not set for each individual fixture

Go to:
Setup --> Freestyler Setup --> Preferences --> Pan / Tilt resize
...and try it out.
Maybe also the correction feature and using palettes in sequences will work for you
