Enttec Open and Midi

Hello Everyone,

I have been using FS for a while but I am new to this forum. I had a question about something that I have been trying to figure out for a long time. I am a DJ and whenever I try to use my DJ software with a midi controller and I am running FS with the Enttec on the same notebook, the DJ software freezes. Once I unplug the Enttec the DJ software unfreezes and resumes operation. I know that it is dumb that I use one PC for lights and sound but that's all I have. Any ideas of why the midi surface and Enttec interfere?

I'm guessing your MIDI controller is connected to the PC via USB? Maybe thats the problem? Have no clue what and how to fix it but that the only reason i can think of which could cause the freeze

Selected the correct driver for the Enttec open? Does it work with FreeStyler when you don't start your DJ software?

What happens if you connect the Enttec open first, and then start your DJ software?

My usb midi interface which is a numark total control is to control my Traktor Pro DJ Studio software and the enttec interfaces with freestyler at the same time. Whenever I try to run both usb devices, Traktor freezes and the lights flash randomly on the numark. I know that the enttec is what triggers the freezing of Traktor and the numark. FYI I am running a Voodoo Envy 133 with Windows 7. In control panel, both FTDI drivers show up for the enttec and in device manager, the numark has the proper driver. Is there suppose to be two drivers for the enttec? I just tried both orders (Enttec Open before Traktor and vise versa) and launching Traktor before Freestyler and vice versa.
