Blizzard Puck...

Post by Scottie »

Hello everyone. New to FreeStyler and my first post as you can see...

I have attempted to create a fixture file for the Blizzard Puck (6-channel version / RGB).

Should be simple enough but I couldn't even figure out how to put the image in it's location.

I did a search for "blizzard" and only 2 hits came up. Neither being fixture files.

Can you share this with me please if you have one created?

Thank you so much for your time!!!

- Scott

What is your problem exactly? Your fixture is working but the wrong image is shown for the fixture? You have wrong images for colors and gobos? You do net get any of the image somewhere in the web to add them? You do not know how to add custom images to the fixture creator library?

Pleas tell me exactly what you want to do. Maybe it will be helpfull if you upload the current pff file (chose export in fixture creator) so I can see what you have done so far.

Here's the gif file to add to your fixture file. I already resized it for you. Save this file in the "Fixture" folder in the Freestyler directory. Then open fixture creator and click in the fixture picture cell. On the right hand side you will see all the files in the fixture folder. Scroll down to the Blizzard Puck and click it. Save the fixture file in fixture creator.

For future reference, I found a pic on the web and saved to my desktop. I used Photoshop to resize the pic and saved it as a gif. I changed the background as well to somewhat match the backgound of FS.

As alternative to photoshop you can use a freeware programm to resize too. For example irfanview.
You can also set the background up as transparent (irfanview can do this too) when saving as a gif.
