American DJ LED Vision

Post by en Vivo Disko »

Hi Freestyler Forum,

I'm in need of a fixture file, hopefully 7 channel dmx, of the American DJ LED Vision.
I have tried starting on myself, but as i'm unsure of what to put in the various boxes, I would appreciate a complete and 100% functioning fixture, to look at and learn from.

I have attached the manual to this post.

Best Wishes

You have the fixture at your side. You are the best one to test ;)

Please upload what you have done so far. I will give it a closer look.

I just checked out the manual. There are several options where it say: 14 - 255 COLOR MACRO or 6 - 245 40 BUILT IN COLOR PATTERNS. But it is not described wich color macros or wich patterns you can reach by using wich exact value. This will be a lot of macro-work wich can be done ONLY with the fixture at your side. But I will try to give you a template and a manual how to do :D

It is no MH or Scanner, it is no parcan, it is no dimmer (even if it has a dimmer channel) so I would suggest to select "others" ;)

EDIT:
I have created a first draft for the fixture file. You can download it as a attachement to this post. Your challenge now is to look if everything works as expacted.

Then you will have to go trouhg the ColorMacros and finde out the DMX-values you have for the different patterns. Therefore try to go trough the values step by step and adjust the values (and pictures) on the first color whele (open FixtureCreator and load the profiel to modify it).
Afterwards you have to do the same with the 40 built in color patterns and may be with the other stuff on channel 6.
Perhaps you want to adjust the values for strob as well. Find out values for slow/med/fast you want to use by testing and then adjust the values for the strobe channel in fixture creator.

Once you have a tested and nice working profile file you should upload it to the User Created Fixture Files section here in the forum. If anyone else want to yous the fixture in his or her setup and needs a fixture file he can use yours.
